Summary: You can connect, check and remove your wearables and health apps in Manage Devices.
Connect a device
- Open the menu (☰) and tap Settings → Manage Devices. You can also tap Add New in the Wearable status section of the home screen.
- Tap the device you want to connect.
- For Garmin, Oura and Google Health, a sign-in page for that device opens. Sign in with the account you use in the device's own app and allow access to your data. When the connection is finished, the page closes. For Google Health, this page opens in a browser window. If your iPhone asks whether the VOLO™ App can use a website to sign in, tap Continue.
- For Apple HealthKit (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), the Grant Permissions screen opens. Tap Grant Permissions. When your phone asks which data to share, turn all categories on.
Apple HealthKit appears only on iPhone, and Health Connect appears only on Android. You can connect more than one device.
Check that a device is connected
- In Manage Devices, a connected device has a green outline and a green check mark. Connected devices are listed first.
- A red outline with an error icon means the connection needs attention. Tap Reconnect under the device and sign in again.
- If a device has no outline, it isn't connected yet. Tap it to connect.
Remove a device
- Open the menu (☰) and tap Settings → Manage Devices.
- Tap Remove under the device.
- Tap Remove again to confirm.
Removing a device stops new data from syncing from it, which may affect your scores and insights. Data it has already synced stays in the app. You can connect it again at any time.
Still stuck? In the VOLO™ App, open the menu (☰) → Help & Support → Customer Service → Submit a request, and attach a screenshot of what you're seeing. Can't sign in to the app? Email support@volohealth.com.
